Primary Location: United States (US) - Wisconsin - Horicon Function: Factory Engineering (CA) Title: Assembly Manufacturing Engineer - 123656 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position ## Your Responsibilities As a Assembly Manufacturing Engineer for JD Horicon Works located in Horicon, WI, you will: * Provide production support to a specific assembly line regarding safety, quality, ergonomic, and tooling concerns * Investigate, plan, and implement new manufacturing processes or technologies * Support cross-function teams for implementation of new product manufacturing processes through EPDP (Enterprise Product Delivery Process) * Utilize the line design process to improve assembly methods for new products and/or revisions to existing products. VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position ## What Skills You Need * Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing environment * Minimum of one year experience with assembly tools and processes * Minimum of one year experience with problem solving and root cause analysis * Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs ## What Makes You Stand Out * Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both salary and wage employees * Experience with industrial engineering principles such as work measurement and setting standard * Experience with electronic tools like MPP for creating sequence of events with associated work instructions and for dynamic simulation of assembly operations * Working knowledge of Assembly processes, Torque Tools, and line balancing * Understanding of electronic tools such as Creo, CreoView, Factory CAD * Project management experience * Experience in a union environment. ## Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: * Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering degree preferred, related technical degree, or minimum of 5 years equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment What You'll Get At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
