Co-Op Program Overview

Summer interns work full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August. Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program.

Key Responsibilities

The Burlington Product Validation Team is responsible for evaluating, testing, and validating CNH construction equipment, including Case Construction and New Holland Construction machines, at the Burlington Proving Grounds. The team conducts field and vehicle testing to assess machine performance, durability, reliability, safety, and functionality under a wide range of real-world operating conditions. Their work ensures that products meet engineering specifications, customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards before being released to the market.
 
The intern will support the Product Validation Team by assisting with equipment testing activities, data collection, test preparation, vehicle instrumentation, inspection of test units, and documentation of test results. This role provides hands-on exposure to off-highway construction equipment and the product development process while helping the team efficiently execute validation programs. The intern will contribute to gathering accurate performance data, maintaining test operations, and supporting engineers and technicians in delivering reliable, high-quality products to CNH customers.
 
Candidates must be local to the Burlington, IA area and reside within driving distance for daily onsite attendance. 

Experience Required

Candidates may be pursuing an Associates, Technical, Bachelor’s, or Post-graduate degree 

Any Engineering (Mechanical, Ag, or Electrical preferred)

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $27.81 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
