Quality Control Technician – Windsor, Ontario
Location: Windsor, Ontario
Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly
Compensation: $27.85/hour

About the Role
We’re seeking a Plant Labourer – Utility to join the production team at Archer Daniels Midland in Windsor, Ontario. This hands-on position supports daily plant operations and helps ensure safe, efficient, and continuous manufacturing activity.
You will assist with general labour tasks, basic equipment operation, and site maintenance activities while contributing to the company’s commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Provide general labour support across plant operations
  • Perform setup, cleanup, and workstation preparation tasks
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts or similar material handling equipment safely
  • Maintain facility cleanliness including sweeping, shoveling, and painting as required
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting and support maintenance or operational activities
  • Support process operations and may provide vacation or absence coverage for production roles
  • Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures and standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

What You'll Bring

  • Experience working in high-speed production, manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required
  • Good attention to detail and basic mechanical or troubleshooting aptitude
  • Familiarity with industrial safety procedures and operational standards
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional communication skills

Experience and Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, processing, or industrial operations is considered an asset
  • Experience operating forklifts or mobile equipment is an advantage
