Job Details:

The Analyst Consumer Insights will support the execution, analysis, organization, and communication of consumer learning for assigned brands, businesses, and workstream within the Tyson Foods portfolio. Working with Consumer Insights team members and cross-functional partners, the Analyst will help transform consumer, marketplace, and business information into clear and useful learning. This role provides the opportunity to build broad experience in consumer research methodologies, data analysis, business storytelling, and emerging AI-enabled insights tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the design, execution, and management of consumer research projects by coordinating timelines, stakeholder, suppliers, and research materials.
  • Assist in translating business needs into clear learning objectives, research questions and actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct secondary research and compile relevant existing knowledge, including prior consumer research, syndicated information, trends, competitive information, and other available data.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative information to identify patterns, differences, and potential business implications, under the guidance of senior Insights team members.
  • Support the design, programming, fielding, quality control, and analysis of studies conducted through approved DIY research platforms.
  • Develop clear charts, summaries, reports, and presentation materials that accurately communicate findings.
  • Contribute to the synthesis of learning across sources and help identify implications and preliminary recommendations.
  • Maintain organized research files and add completed learning, metadata, and supporting materials to the team’s insights repository.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Psychology, Marketing Research or related field required.
  • EXPERIENCE: 1 year of relevant experience in consumer insights, market research, analytics, marketing, brand management, consulting, or related area. Experience in consumer-packaged-goods or the food industry is a plus but not required.
  • COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and Power Point
  • SPECIAL SKILLS:
    • Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in understanding consumers and business problems.
    • Foundational analytical skills and the ability to identify patterns within qualitative and quantitative information.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and research quality.
    • Clear written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
    • Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
    • Willingness to ask questions, seek feedback, and build new technical and business skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, business partners, and external suppliers.
    • Sound judgment when working with confidential information and AI-generated content.
