You will have the opportunity to work with experienced engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to every aspect of the product development lifecycle. You will · Develop embedded software in MATLAB Simulink and C as part of a global team executing drive strategy. · Be responsible for testing software in multiple environments HIL, SIL, and VIL. · Be responsible for collaborating with system engineers to design software that meets customer needs. · Be responsible for tuning vehicle performance to achieve efficiency and productivity goals. · Analyze issues and drive for resolution of issues found during lab and field testing VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position ## What Skills You Need · Experience with software product development through practical work experiences, relevant internships or academic experience · Demonstrated exposure to developing embedded applications using MATLAB Simulink and C. · Demonstrated exposure to working on and troubleshooting control systems. · Demonstrated technical problem solving abilities · Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working in a global team environment. ## What Makes You Stand Out · Experienced with and comfortable with using large AG equipment · Strong passion for embedded engineering, learning new technologies, experimentation. · Experience in Model Based Software Design (MBSD) and/or system simulation. · Experience in automotive communication protocols such as J1939 and ISO 11783 for CAN, LIN, and Ethernet. · Experience relating to the design/diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems. · Experience with continuous integration development and automated build tools. ## Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: · Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with equivalent experience What You'll Get At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
