Syngenta's Syngenta’s Commercial Team is seeking a Seeds Communications Intern in Lisle, IL.

As part of Syngenta's Emerging Talent Program, you will gain hands-on experience, exposure to day-to-day business operations, and opportunities to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while developing your professional skills.

Accountabilities:

Build communications initiatives and tactical content for the Global and North America Seeds business.
Learn communications fundamentals and best practices.
Learn technology to support communications execution.
Training is provided in-house, and guidance is provided by management.
Develop skills and experience to further your career.
Assist in the execution of communications initiatives as assigned.
Support the digital marketing effort for North America Communications, such as e-newsletters, social media, and event support.
Assist with asset management, content audits, and content creation.
Learn digital technologies to support the execution and measurement of communications plans.
Develop and execute a social content calendar for Seeds leaders.
Support summer events as needed.
Develop basic knowledge of the Seeds business.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the student must be pursuing an advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Requires developed specialized skills, or a breadth of skills, through job-related training, on-the-job experience, and coursework.

Desired Qualifications:

A demonstrated passion for agriculture and food production is a definite asset.
Knowledge of marketing processes, data insights and analytics, agronomics, general cropping practices, agricultural technology and trends, and requirements for pest control.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comprising strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead, be self-directed, and work as part of a team.

Additional Information

All applicants must be eligible to work in the US, and likely Downers Grove, Illinois.

Salary for this position ranges between $20 - $45 hourly.
