Instrumentation & Electrical Technician – Clinton, IA
Pay: Starts at $30.00/hr. Depending on experience
Shift(s) Available: DAY Shift = 6:30AM – 5:00PM.

Position Summary:
Perform electrical and instrumentation repairs on equipment at a world-scale Power Generation facility with a heavy emphasis on Safety and Maintenance Reliability.

Position Summary:
Perform electrical and instrumentation repairs on equipment at a world-scale Power Generation facility with a heavy emphasis on Safety and Maintenance Reliability.
Job Requirements:
- Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
- Strong safety values
- Strong fundamental skills (math, reading, writing)
- Direct industrial maintenance experience or high exposure to industrial maintenance preferred
- Computer skills - a must
- Experience with hydraulic control system a plus (Pressure switches, solenoids, etc.)
- Experience and Industrial Controls experience a plus:
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
- BMS (Burner Management System)
- CEMs (Continuous Emission System)
- AMS (Asset Management Solutions)
- Calibration equipment (PH Probes, Transmitters, Level Gauges, etc.)
- DVC Setup and calibrations on control valves and louvers
- Familiarity with 3 phase electrical systems
- Knowledge of Gas/Coal Boilers and Steam Turbines – a strong plus
- Experience with CMMS – a strong plus
- Flexibility in accepting change
- Communication (spoken and written) and teamwork skills
- Work off shift when needed
- Perform call in duties
- Knowledge of NEC code requirements
- Must be able to wear a respirator (Full face)
- DOL Apprenticeship completion or at least 5 years’ experience with enrollment in Apprenticeship I&E. Willingness to participate in training to continue developing skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights and work in extreme temperature conditions
