Electrical Engineering co-op
The primary responsibilities of this role are to: Design and test electronic circuitry; Generate test plans and protocols; Analyze test results and compose test reports; You will also troubleshoot problems during testing, assume ownership of specific test methods and sub-modules, and routinely provide readouts to the larger hardware team about the progress of your work.
This is a 12 month co-op position beginning in January OR May of 2027.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and test electronic circuitry;
- Generate test plans and protocols;
- Analyze test results and compose test reports;
- Troubleshoot problems during testing and assume ownership of specific test methods and sub-modules;
- Routinely provide readouts to the larger hardware team about the progress of your work.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Enrollment in an Electrical Engineering degree program;
- Completion of at least second year of a Bachelors degree;
- Experience with basic electronic test equipment;
- Classwork in circuits, hardware design, physics, and statistics;
- Attention to detail, positive attitude, good work ethic;
- Ability to independently troubleshoot;
- Teamwork experience through coursework, lab work, and/or internship;
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Python, Matlab, and schematic entry tools;
- Medical device classwork.
