Job description



We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support R&D activities in the laboratory. The role will focus on:

  • Laboratory Trials: Execute experimental protocols, process samples, and support analytical testing activities.
  • Laboratory Operations: Perform routine lab tasks including sampling, inventory management, ordering supplies, and general laboratory support.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities.
  • Coordination & Logistics: Manage product documentation, coordinate external analyses, and maintain associated software and tracking systems.


Main Responsibilities


  • Execute weekly and monthly experimental development plans under supervision.
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and precision of laboratory results.
  • Collect, prepare, and manage samples according to standard operating procedures.
  • Accurately record data in laboratory information management systems and maintain detailed experimental records.
  • Operate a range of laboratory equipment and instruments, including performing routine maintenance and calibration.
  • Follow all laboratory safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of laboratory consumables and materials.
  • Participate in training programs to develop new technical skills and laboratory techniques.
  • Seek guidance and feedback from experienced colleagues to support continuous learning.
  • Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff, researchers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and stakeholders.



Qualifications & Experience


  • Senior Technician qualification or equivalent scientific/technical education.
  • 1-3 years of laboratory experience in areas such as:
    • Microbiology
    • Cell Biology
    • Genomics
    • Analytical Sciences
    • Related laboratory disciplines
  • Experience with analytical techniques and instrumentation is considered an advantage.
